There are several institutes that will offer admissions to the qualifying candidates of JEE Main 2017 into their undergraduate engineering programs on the basis of their scores, marks, and ranks. JEE Main 2017 participating institutes include 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 20 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and 19 Government-Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs). The number of JEE Main 2017 Participating Institutes can go up or down depending upon as and when CBSE, the exam conducting body for JEE Main 2017, releases the list for 2017.
