Yesterday President Barack Obama spoke with the TODAY SHOW’s Matt Lauer on the status of Education in America and the future of our nation’s children. As usual Obama was extremely articulate and had some great sound bytes.

The net net takeaway is that money alone cannot solve our education crisis. The US has increased its spending per student yet is ranked 21st in education amongst the world’s developed countries. That stat alone (related studies from OECD/PISA report here and here) should be an eye opener.

You can read the entire transcript of President’s Obama’s interview here.

Enjoy!
